Need 50TB Storage

Looking for a nas that can handle 8 camera’s that have better than 1080 and still be used for file sharing thru plex as well for file back ups

Is the WD181kfGX (18TB NAS HDD) compatible in a Synology 918+ NAS. I want to use it in combination with WD120EFAX HD drives.

What can you tell me about the LinkMore XE200 and if it is worth installing it on my ps5?

I have a DS1821+ Synology, is it possible to use both the NVME slot and the NVME PCIE card in the slot at the same time so i can use one set for cache and one set for storage. I would like to know before i run out and buy the NVME PCIE card.

I'm traying to follow your steps, but I dont know why on my NAS i don't get hot swappable drive when I use RAID 5. I have TS453A.
Only as spare I see on my device. ALso when I create pool's ore volumes, there are not same staps as on your vide.

Hi, I'm a 6K and 8K video editor, and I use Davinci Resolve 18 with a Mac Studio UltraM1 for editing. I'm looking for a DAS rather than a NAS solution to do my Multicam editing.

Hi, first off love your site! I work for a small personal archive (1 or 2 employees), digitising photographic media, video and music. Our current setup uses Promise Pegasus Thunderbolt RAID DAS units (Pegasus R6 & a Pegasus2 R8) backed up to Terramaster D5-300 units which have given pretty faultless service over the last few years, but I'm running out of space and as these are old units now which don't support large drive sizes then we need to upgrade. I've always gone the DAS route so as to keep the archive offline but am now wondering about a desktop NAS which I will just use on the LAN. I'd combine all the data from the two Promise units onto one large NAS/DAS which will be the main "server" using RAID6, backed up to another unit locally with periodic backups to a third unit off-site via VPN. The new T9-450 sounds good so maybe just get 3 of those, or maybe 2 and a D8 T3 or D8-332?

I check terra master, synology and wd my cloud home and need your advice on which will work perfectly for my purpose.

I would just like a reccomendation for a NAS plex server, I would have a max of 2 indoor and 2 external running at the same time. viewing the occasional 4K movies but mainly 1070p movies, all so what make of drives would you reccomend. ?
