SSD Boot Drive

#1
Hi i want to change my 2x 250gb ssd in raid 1/volume 1 config to 2x 500gb ssd in raid 1/volume 1 config. My data is stored on 2x 8tb seagate hdd's as volume 2 and i cant afford to lose the data on these drives. I have heard you can eject these drives chnage over your boot drives and reinsert them with no issues. I just wanted to know if this is the case before i commit to changing my boot drive.

Many thanks.

The first volume you create will be used for NAS OS. This means your additional drives will need to be formated before you can use them as a secondary RAID.
