Hi. I've had a DS218 for a few years, mainly for multimedia and file storage. Home electricity seems generally good, but there's been one or two power cuts for just a second or two. It never occurs to me the NAS needs restarted until I'm away from home and realise it's down. I've been meaning to get a UPS for a while but never got around to it.
