on NAS: RAM vs SSD caching

#2
There is no need for more RAM or NVMe cache if you use your NAS for simple file storage for a single user. Caching is something that helps in office environments when there are 10 users accessing the same files. And when data needs to be uploaded on frequent bases.
RAM is only useful if you actually use it. You may need more memory if you run so many apps or use it for virtual machines. Otherwise simple media streaming do not require more RAM.
Introducing SSD instead of HDD is something that could give you a smoother experience. But it cost more money.

I hope this helps.
