It does sound like a NAS is faulty. Make sure you have the latest firmware installed. Also sometimes NAS reboot helps.If nothing helps, you should be replacing the NAS.Also, make sure those M.2 are SATA and not NVME - but I can see you have got SATA ones.Keep on bombarding Qnap until they do something about it.I hope this helps.
