The purple N355 board should technically support 2x 4TB NVMe SSDs in its native slots, but since manufacturers don’t always test high-capacity drives, it’s hard to guarantee 100% compatibility. That being said, we haven’t seen any reports of issues with 4TB drives on similar models. If you want to be completely certain, checking with the seller directly might be a good idea.
For alternative boards, if you're looking for low idle power, dual 2.5GbE (or 10GbE if possible), Mini-ITX form factor, and quiet operation, here are some options worth considering:
Topton N100/N305 Mini-ITX – Efficient, supports NVMe drives, and idles very low on power.
CWWK N6005/N100/N305 – Comes with dual 2.5GbE, solid cooling, and good power efficiency.
ASRock Industrial N100M – Not Mini-ITX, but super power-efficient and great for NAS builds.
Supermicro X10SDV-TLN4F – Older but has 10GbE and good power management.
If 10GbE is a must, you might need to consider a PCIe expansion slot or an external 10GbE adapter.
