There is not much space for the heatsink. Practically you need to use the ones included with Qnap or Samsung if supplied https://download.qnap.com/Storage/Techni...NAS/ts-x62&x64/ts-x62&x64-ug-en-us.pdfWe have not seen a need for one with gen4 SSD.
