Windows 11 with release 22H2

#2
The issue you are experiencing is related to the new requirements for Windows 11, which includes a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) chip for security purposes. While this may create some difficulties when trying to connect to your Synology NAS, it is not an issue that Synology can directly address. But better try then not!

One workaround is to use the browser to access the drives on the Synology NAS. However, this may not be the most convenient or secure method. Another option could be to use a third-party file manager that supports network drives and allows you to authenticate with your Synology NAS without requiring a Microsoft account sign-in.

It's important to note that Windows 10 will still be supported until 2025, so if you are having issues with Windows 11, you may consider using Windows 10 until the issue is resolved. Additionally, you may want to contact Microsoft support for further assistance with the Microsoft account sign-in requirement.
