DS923 for photography (Synology Photos)

Hi from Belgium!
I’m using today a Synology DS418play mainly for Synology Photos (family sharing etc…) but also for Synology Drive (Office family) and backup (Apple devices). I noticed that I don’t use a lot of CPU, but I wonder if the new DS923 would be a better choice? Or should I wait for a DS423 (maybe with Intel processor)? Can you help me with my question? If you only use your NAS locally, things like transcoding are not required. So CPU will stay idle for most of the time.
DS923+ compared to ds418play is a weaker NAS regarding multimedia.
I would stay with the play model.
