Kodi + QNAP QVPN

Hi, just a quick question.

I've recently set up Kodi on my TS-453d and it is working well. 
I also have QVPN on the NAS, running through my Expressvpn account, also appears to be working fine.
I've made the assumption that my data usage for Kodi will be masked from my ISP by my QVPN, and I will not need to do anything within Kodi itself. Is my assumption correct?

kodi is a local streaming service. ISP do see what you are streaming. But they could see metadata being pulled, so having this VPN will mask it.
