Terramaster trueNas

#1
Hi,

first off, i have a shield, so I'm interested in direct-play only.
1) - I would like a Nas that can play 4k 10bit up to 80-100 mbps on direct stream while it being under 500 or cheapest solution. (can you suggest one please)
2) - In your 4k plex test video, you test the F4-423 and it did play the TOP GUN movie but the usage was always nearing 100%, some people say it is due to some bugs on their software so I was wondering if you happen to know if TrueNas would solve the issue, did you test the F4 423 or maybe other NAS (accustor..) with plex/jelly on trueNAS? specifically for direct play with high bitrate HDR 10 bit videos please.

Best Regards,

Yes, if you install Plex on a NAS Terramaster will not cope with it no difference in OS.
But if you use Nvidia shield TV, you will be playing directly and not transcoding from the NAS. So no conversion is needed. You are OK.
