NAS for iphone photo and more

#1
Hi, I've been watching your channel extensively as the main source of knowledge as I embark on the idea of purchasing a NAS to back up my entire photo library (20+ years), whether it is iPhone photos or DSLR.

I'm looking for a robust solution that will allow me to access that entire lib from my iPhone, and if possible use the Apple Photos app (very doubtful about that one), whether I'm in the US, or on the other side of the planet!

I've been looking at QNAP and Synology but am having a truly hard time deciding which brand and then which model would be right for me.

Thank you infinitely for any advice and recommendation!

DS423+ is a great option to consider for your needs. It has similar specs to the DS920+ and can handle the demands of a large photo library and remote access capabilities. Additionally, the DS423+ has four drive bays, allowing for potential future expansion of your storage capacity. As with any NAS, it's essential to consider your specific needs and budget and choose the model that best meets those requirements. Regardless of which model you choose, both QNAP and Synology offer excellent products that can meet your needs for backing up and accessing your photo library.
