NAS for Plex

#1
WD My Cloud is driving me mad as Plex server...I would like something that can transcode and be accessible both at home and when I am abroad. I dont have immediate needs beyond Plex and back up of music files/photos a so I dont need huge capacity. I am Ok with fairly simple IT so I was thinking Terrmaster F2-423 and 6TB storage - is that overkill? Should I split the storage between some SSD and a hard disk? Thanks for your help and your Tube channel is great!

Yes, Celeron based NAS would be a good choice for Plex transcoding (up to 1080p). F2-423 would be an option.
You can also create two separate RAIDs. For HDDs and SSDs. People usually do that either to speed up the NAS or have zero noise.

I hope this helps.
