From Drobo 5n2 to Terramaster F4-422 NAS

watching you videos leaving drobo 5n2. in your Video you said Terramaster F4-422 NAS is like drobo Raid
I pick up Terramaster F5-422 NAS but not sure what raid I should set it too. Right now I only have two 18TB in the Terramaster. and in the drobo I have four 10Tb and one 18TB going to add more when I get more money.
I just want to make sure i set this Up Right the first time. I posted your Video on facebook Drobo group I help other.
Synology was not going to be the right move because I would have to buy there 18 HHD.

It is a good practice to add drives that are the same size or bigger than existing drives in the RAID. If you are setting your RAID for the first time, you can mix any drive you want. You can use 4x10TB + 18TB drive. But in the future, you may need to add only 18TB or bigger drives. Synology and Terramaster support this initial drive mixing of any size.
