Have a DS2422+ on order. Want to upgrade the RAM. Watched your video. Comes with just one stick. All your upgrades were in pairs. Can I replace the Synology ECC 4GB stick with a single third party ECC 16 GB stick or do I need to use two ECC 8 GB sticks? Thanks !!!

Yes, you can use different size RAM pairs. This is what Synology themselves are doing.
