QNAP TS-44

#1
Hello,

I'm looking for a NAS to back up my Cloud storage, local storage, and mobile data.
Plex & Virtualization would be a plus. I'm 99% decided on TS-464.

The missing component I've found is a way to back up:

iOS or Google contacts. (Looks like QNAP discontinued support of their contacts app)
Mobile Notes

What is your recommendation?

If you're looking for a NAS that can back up your iOS or Google contacts, as well as your mobile notes, none of the NAS can do it. You can sondier this https://kb.synology.com/en-af/DSM/help/C...?version=6
You need to manually export contacts. But you can create you might want to consider the Synology DS920+. Synology offers several mobile apps that can help you back up your contacts and notes, such as DS note and DS contacts. These apps can sync your notes and contacts to your NAS, allowing you to access and manage them from anywhere.

The DS920+ is also a powerful NAS that can handle both Plex and virtualization. It's equipped with a quad-core Intel Celeron J4125 processor and 4GB of DDR4 memory, which can be expanded up to 8GB. The NAS also has four drive bays, giving you plenty of storage capacity to back up your local storage and cloud storage.

Overall, the DS920+ is a solid choice for a NAS that can handle your backup needs, as well as provide you with the ability to run Plex and virtualization.
