I know the age of my NSA limits me but it’s been a workhorse for 10 years and I’m hoping a memory upgrade can extend it as demand increases. Thank you!

The Synology DS1512+ comes with 1GB of RAM installed, and it supports a maximum of 5GB of RAM. The device has two memory slots, and the memory can be upgraded by installing two DDR3 RAM modules of up to 4GB each in the available slots.

Please note that although a memory upgrade can help improve performance and allow for increased demand, it may not be enough to meet the requirements of some newer applications or features. Additionally, the DS1512+ is an older model, and it may not receive software updates or support from Synology in the future.
