Question about mixing WD RED Plus/Pro

#1
Hello, I'm looking for the ultimate in high performance in my Synology DS1621+. I have 2x WD RED PLUS and 4x WD RED PRO (14TB HDD). I plan to use RAID 10 because I believe it has higher performance than SHR-2. My question is, will RAID 10 work OK with two different models of WD RED HDD?

Both the Red Plus and Red Pro drives are part of Western Digital's Red series, which is specifically designed for use in NAS systems, and they are compatible with each other. However, it is important to note that there may be performance differences between the two models, so you may see different levels of performance depending on the specific tasks you are performing.

Additionally, when using different models of drives in a RAID configuration, it's recommended to use drives of the same capacity to ensure that the array is balanced and performance is optimized.
