SET UP ANNOYANCE

#1
Good Day,
Just got a lockerstor 2 gen2 (as6702t).
TBH Thinking of throwing it in the Bin.

We are new to this, it is taking 10+ Hours to Synchronise the 8TB x 2 WD Red Pro Drives - Is that Normal?

So confused about how to actually set it up, and cannot find it on our MAC Newtwork, when we did it said Connection Failed.

Cheers, Nigel

It's not normal for a synchronization process to take 10+ hours, but it can depend on several factors such as the amount of data being synchronized, the speed of your network connection, and the performance of the drives.

If you are having trouble setting up your Asustor AS6702T, there are a few things you can try:

Check your network connection: Make sure that your Asustor NAS and your Mac are connected to the same network and that the network connection is stable.

Configure your network settings: Go to the network settings on your Asustor NAS and configure the IP address and DHCP settings to match your network.

Check for updates: Make sure you have the latest firmware installed on your Asustor NAS and that your Mac is running the latest operating system.

Try accessing the NAS from the web browser: Try to access the web interface of the NAS by typing the IP address of the NAS in the web browser.

Try using the Asustor Data Master utility: This is a utility that can help you find and connect to the NAS on your network.

If you are still unable to connect to your Asustor NAS, it might be a good idea to contact Asustor support or check the Asustor website for troubleshooting guides and FAQs. They should be able to help you resolve any issues you're experiencing.

Also, keep in mind that if you are copying a lot of data over the network, it will take time to copy it, especially if you are copying large files or many files. If you are copying a lot of files, it will take longer than if you were copying just a few.
