NAS Recommendation to Stream Go Pro 11 HVEC to Apple TV

Hi -

I'm new to all of this and quickly learning. I recently got a Go Pro 11 camera and also purchased a WD MyCloud EX2 Ultra TB. I have a 4k Apple TV as well. I've been able to stream older AVCHD videos without a problem, but I'm having problems streaming the Go Pro 11 HVEC 4k video - the error that I get is that there isn't ebough CPU to support Transcoding.

Given my budget, etc., what do brand/model do you recommend?

It looks like Apple TV do not support that specific video file. You could convert them into another format to avoid transcoding.

If you use Synology DS Video app, you could handle transcoding with models such as ds218play, ds418 or plus series models.

If you use Plex, you will need NAS such as TVS-h474.
