Hi, if I had the opportunity to purchase a WD My Cloud Pro Series 4-bay model 32tb brand new for around 1000 AUD, would you say it is a good deal? I just need to access and store a bunch of files and use PLEX media server sometimes.

Yes, WD My Cloud Pro Series 4-bay is good NAS. You also do not need to purchase PLEX pass to get transcoding. Its included for free.
