Looking for NAS for video editing

#1
Hi, thanks for the help.
We currently have a Synology DS918+ with 16 TB which we use with 5 Macs hooked up via a 1GB ethernet network. The speeds are just not cutting it for us, especially now that some of our newer machines have 10gb ethernet built in so we would like to switch over to a 10gb network.
Would really appreciate advice on which direction to go with a new NAS as well as use of SSDs. We use Final Cut Pro as well as Adobe Premiere and After Effects and the speeds are around 100Mb read and write, which we would like to significantly improve (Considering our new Mac studios can run at around X50 of that on their internal ssd)

Thanks so much for the help!

DS923+ can be upgraded with 10GbE connection. This would support up two 4k editors. But everyone could benefit from increased speeds. If you only use NAS for storage and all editing happens on the MAC then this might be enough for you. Otherwise, DS1621xs+/ ds3622xs+ is for video editors edit from.

I hope this helps.
