Nas advice

#1
Hi Guys,

Love encountering what you guys are doing - Great work and really all the love from everyone.

I was wondering if you guys could help me. I run media/video/photo operation from home with big video files from various cameras together with raw images that needs backing up. I dont have much knowledge about setting up a proper NAS situation but would love to do it eventually.
At the moment most of the files are scattered around everywhere without proper structure. Would love to make it work somehow. Any ideas?

We usually recommend Synology models for people that simply want things to work and do not want much maintenance.
DS920+ has been the most popular NAS for a good reason. It has enough performance to handy any tasks you throw at it. This included docker, virtual machines and video transcoding.
You will also get great mobile and computer apps helps backing up and access your data locally or remotely.

I hope this helps.
