how do I configure my TS873A nas to my router, modum to my computer

I am not sure how to connect my qnap TS 873A to my router, modem
to my computer

You should be able to plug a network cable into the NAS and the other end into your Router (or a switch connected to the router).
You probably want to go into your router and assign the NAS a fixed IP address on your local network once it's turned on.

From your computer, install the latest version of QFinderPro https://www.qnap.com/en-uk/utilities/essentials
Once that's done, you should be able to connect to it.
