Old Drives - What are they good for?

#1
Hi,

Over the years having upgrading my NAS and various PCs I am left with a mixture of redundant drives 300GB - 4 TB mostly working, but not all. Any ideas of what to do with my collection of old drives, anything useful or creative?

Thanks,

Backckups, Backups & more Backups !!

Possibly as a spare in the event of a disc failure (if any are large enough)

You can wipe them by double writing to the whole disk & stick them on ebay (individually or as a job lot)

Failing that - a modern art sculpture you can sell for millions or custom jewellery Wink

There's always a Greener alternative too https://www.westerndigital.com/company/p...sy-recycle
