I am looking to replace Google Photos and Google Drive for my family of 4. This is going to be my first time setting up a NAS.
Can you help me with deciding the NAS I should buy and any advice you have for me? Really appreciate you taking your time to answer my questions! Thanks!

If the only thing you want to achieve with a NAS is replacing your Google Photos/ Drive then Synology ds220j or other j series or WD EX2 Ultra will do the job. If you need few extras like remote video streaming that could replace Netflix then DS218play would do a better job. And if you also want to use it for time machine. windows
/ server backups then ds220+ would be a way to go. I hope this helps. |
