NAS selection

Thoroughly enjoy your videos - thanks for them,. I will be purchasing a Synology NAS to use as a home video server, data storage of documents and photos and as a personal cloud to share drone videos from my DJI Mini 3 Pro in 4K with family and friends. I am considering the DS1520+ or DS1522+. The primary difference I see for my usage is the 20+ uses Intel with imbedded graphics and the 22+ uses AMD without embedded graphics. At this time, I can purchase either the 20+ or 22+ for the same amount. I would appreciate any opinion you can give regarding a best fit for my purposes. Thank you very much……..Keith

The performance between these two models is very similar. If you do need 10GbE connectivity, go for DS1520+. Otherwise, DS1520+ has a better value thanks to its built-in graphics chip. This means you can share your 4k videos remotely. Models with no graphics chip will mean that people need to download those videos in order to be able to watch them.
