looking to upgrade to a 4 bay from the QNAP Ts-251D

#1
Hi there --
I bought the TR-002 a couple years ago and am very disappointed in my decision. I want to migrate my 4 16TB exes drives to a 4 bay NAS. I assume at this point it's best t go with a new QNAP since I've spent all the effort to understand how it works (and it at times has pushed me way beyond my existing level of technical understanding. But wanted to see if you have any advice. I am on complete OSX / IOS environment for better and for worse, and was looking at the TS-464, though I can't seem to find any availability. Any top of mind suggestions for my situation?
Thanks,
RIch

Moving those drives to a NAS will require formatting them. But you can move one drive at a time and copy data over from your DAS to a NAS.
TS-464 is going to be their best selling NAS when it is available globally. It has everything modern NAS user would need.
You can set it up as RAID1 and move to RAID5 later without the need to reset the system.

I hope this helps.
