Thanks for reaching out. For mostly document and PDF storage, you don’t need anything too powerful, but it’s smart to plan ahead for reliability and long-term access.

The UGREEN DXP2800 or DXP4800 would both fit your needs. The 2800 is compact and affordable, while the 4800 gives you four bays for better data protection and room to expand in the future. UGREEN’s UGOS system is simple to use and supports automatic backup, file versioning, and secure remote access.

If you prefer a more established NAS brand with stronger long-term software support, the Synology DS224+ or QNAP TS-233 are also excellent options in your budget. Both support secure cloud sync, snapshot backups, and mobile file access — ideal for business use.

If you just want the easiest setup and reliability, go Synology. If you want more flexibility and app options, QNAP or UGREEN are great choices.
