I am looking for a NVME storage solution that can do at least 1GB/s Transfer speeds. This will have to be able to connect via usb-c to a Pc. But also have a network port for backups. Is there something like that? Also it has to be small enough to carry if need be because the user will travel to different states and also be in a hybrid work environment

Thanks for getting in touch. For your hybrid workflow and speed needs, you’re essentially looking for a portable NVMe-based NAS/DAS hybrid with 1GB/s+ performance, USB-C (for DAS use), and LAN (for NAS backups) — and yes, there are a few good options that tick those boxes.
The Asustor Flashstor 6 Gen2 or Flashstor 12 Pro are likely the closest match:
• Up to 6 or 12 NVMe SSDs in RAID
• USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x1 and 2.5GbE LAN
• Read/write speeds well above 1,000MB/s with quality SSDs
• Silent, fanless, and compact enough to travel with
• Built-in ADM OS for remote access, snapshots, backups, and Plex
Another alternative (if you want full control or prefer UnRAID/TrueNAS SCALE) would be a Minisforum N5 Pro NAS or CWWK N100-based mini NAS box with multiple NVMe slots — you’d need to use something like an OCuLink to USB4 adapter or Thunderbolt to USB-C bridge for DAS-style access, but it would give you even more power and upgrade flexibility.
If portability is critical, I’d lean toward the Asustor Flashstor Gen2 models. They’re purpose-built for your use case and support both direct-attached and network workflows cleanly.
