NAS for Small Office

Suggestions for a NAS that can be placed on a network for access by 2 PCs and a MAC in a very small office. It is a small non-profit, so cost is a definite consideration. I realize that sounds like a server, but I don't want the maintenance of a server, just somewhere to share application files and store other files, photos, and videos.
