If one Noctua fan stops while the other keeps running, it could be due to a few things:

Power Delivery Issue – Some NAS fan headers might not provide enough power for both fans. Try swapping the fan connections to see if the issue follows the fan or stays with the header.

Fan Control Settings – Check your NAS’s fan control settings (if available) to make sure both fans are set to run continuously. Some systems slow down or stop fans based on temperature.

Y-Splitter Issue – If you’re using a splitter to connect both fans to a single header, try plugging them into separate headers or testing one fan at a time.

Firmware or Software Control – Some NAS models auto-regulate fans based on temp. If possible, try setting manual speeds in the control panel.

If you’ve tried all this and one fan still stops, the fan itself might be faulty. You can test it by connecting it directly to a 3-pin or 4-pin header on a PC or another device.
