just to add to my last message about cloud backup, what are your thoughts on idrive-e2 that can be set up though amazon s3 comptable and I would pay for 10TB/year ($300) vs back blaze where 8tb would cost 675/year

Opting for IDrive with Amazon S3 compatibility for your cloud backup needs can be a cost-effective choice, especially if you're looking to back up 10TB of data annually for $300. This option provides you with ample storage space at a relatively lower cost compared to Backblaze B2, which would cost $675 per year for 8TB of storage. However, before making a decision, it's essential to consider factors beyond pricing, such as the features, reliability, and ease of use offered by each service. Evaluate the backup and restore capabilities, security measures, and any additional features that may be important to you. Additionally, ensure that the service aligns with your backup frequency and data retention requirements. Ultimately, selecting the right cloud backup solution involves weighing both cost and functionality to find the best fit for your needs.
