DIY NAS

#1
Hi mate,
I'd like to build a home NAS. I followed your guide on DIY NAS with Jonsbo N2 and ended up modifying some components due to price and availability.
Just want to know what's your opinion about my system and if it's future proof?
Case: Jonsbo N2
MB: ASROCK Z690M-ITX/AX (2x M.2 and 2 LAN ports 1G+2.5G). it also support overclocking
CPU: i5-12400F + original fan
RAM: 16-32GB
PSU: SFX 400W
OS: TrueNAS on M.2 NVMe SSD (256GB?)

Your DIY NAS setup looks solid!

Jonsbo N2 case is cool.
ASROCK Z690M-ITX/AX motherboard is a good choice.
i5-12400F CPU and 16-32GB RAM are solid for a home NAS.
400W PSU is fine.
256GB NVMe SSD for OS is a smart move.
Starting with 16TB storage is good; consider RAID for protection.
It's a well-balanced system with some future-proofing. Enjoy building your NAS!
