Hi looking to build a low profile nas for media streaming. Have a couple components left over from a previous pc build that I would like to reuse to save cost.
These are AMD ryzen 3400g and a evga gtx 1660 black edition any advice or help would be great.

Building a low-profile NAS for media streaming with the components you have can be a great cost-effective solution. Considering your AMD Ryzen 3400G and EVGA GTX 1660 Black Edition, here are some suggestions:
Processor: The AMD Ryzen 3400G is a capable APU with integrated graphics, which is suitable for a NAS setup. It provides a good balance of performance and power efficiency.
Graphics Card: While the EVGA GTX 1660 Black Edition is a powerful GPU, for a NAS focused on media streaming, the integrated graphics of the Ryzen 3400G should be sufficient. NAS setups usually don't require dedicated GPUs unless you have specific use cases like video editing or transcoding.
Motherboard: Choose a motherboard that supports your Ryzen 3400G and has the necessary SATA ports for your storage drives. Ensure it has features like Gigabit Ethernet for smooth media streaming.
Memory (RAM): Aim for at least 8GB or 16GB of RAM, depending on your budget. This will help in smooth multitasking and handling multiple streams.
Power Supply: Select a reliable and efficient power supply with enough wattage to support your components.
Case: Look for a low-profile case that accommodates your components and provides good airflow for cooling.
Storage: Since you already have 24TB of storage, you can reuse these drives in your new NAS. Ensure that the motherboard has enough SATA ports for your storage needs.
Considering your budget of £400 and the components you already have, you can allocate the budget for the remaining components like motherboard, RAM, power supply, and case.
