Server Backup

#1
Looking to back up 16TB off a server. Want it to be mirrored onto second drive while backing up. So looking at 40-44TB of hard drive space to be safe. Is Synology DiskStation DS224+ 2-Bay and 2 Seagate 20TB IronWolf Pro 7200 rpm SATA III 3.5" Internal NAS HDD. Is this sufficient? If not, what would you recommend?

Absolutely, the Synology DiskStation DS224+ paired with two Seagate 20TB IronWolf Pro drives is a solid choice for your backup needs. The DS224+ belongs to the Plus series, offering robust features for barebone server backups. With its quad-core Intel Celeron J4125 processor and 2GB DDR4 non-ECC RAM, it provides ample power to handle your backup tasks efficiently. The Seagate IronWolf Pro drives, known for their reliability, will provide the required storage space for your 16TB backup, ensuring a mirrored setup for added data security. Moreover, the DS224+ supports various RAID configurations for additional flexibility. Your investment of $1,500 for this setup strikes a good balance between performance and affordability.
