i have ds920+ mainly used for plex backing up files and photos 8 users use it. 1GB up/down ISP, asus axe1100 router, im finding the 1gb lan the bottleneck and ram. current storage is 4x4tb ironwolf hdd is there any improvement ie in the terramaster f4-423 for example or the asustor system etc advice would be nice docker is a must

You could use 2.5 or 5GbE USB adapter or multichannel SMB.
Otherwise, Terramaster and Qnap as well as Asustr come with 2.5GbE LAN.
