Hey,

I would like to buy a NAS for backing up my Mac and iPhone devices and doing 4k video editing and streaming to Apple TV. Maybe 8k in the future also

I would like to have a 10 GB ethernet connection also for better.

As of today, Qnap works better with Apple products. Synology have spent a decade to figure out drive sync space-saving mode. Qnap had it for a couple of years now.
You also can have or install a Thunderbolt card and have your NAS connected directly.
Here are few options I would recommend. Mainly 73A, 72X and 74 series.
