Rackmount QNAP Plex Server NAS?

Good morning. Do you know if the QNAP TVS-872-XU-i3-4G is a good enough rackmounted NAS for 4K plex server or is there a better one. I know people stating the desktop TVS-1282T3 is the best
9not sure if thats outdated or not anymore)
but I wanted a rackmount given space. I want the best one thats out now so no issues in transcoding or streaming 4K video to my home with serval 4K TVs and mobile devices. Thank you in advance. Your videos and website are extremely helpful .

Yes, the 72XU series come with a minimum requirement CPU which is core i3. You could transcode more 4K video kinds with i5 and i7 (872xt / TVS-1282).Alternatively, a new winner with Plex 4K transcoding is h1288X with Xeon CPU.I hope this helps.
