Hi, Can the Minisforum N5 Pro can use non ECC DDR5 Memory?
If I bought the N5 Pro without RAM it look's like ECC memory is difficult to find. I've been hanging on for the N5 Non Pro but seems like it's always out of stock. Thanks, Martyn.

Thanks for the message, Martyn. Yes, the Minisforum N5 Pro can run perfectly fine with non-ECC DDR5 memory. While the CPU and board support ECC RAM, it’s not a strict requirement. You can use standard DDR5 SODIMM modules without any stability issues, and the system will simply operate in non-ECC mode.
If you can’t source ECC sticks easily, go ahead and install regular DDR5 5600 MHz SODIMMs from a reliable brand like Kingston, Crucial, or Corsair. They’ll work without any BIOS tweaks. The main difference is that you won’t get the extra bit-error correction that ECC provides, but for most home or small-lab uses that’s perfectly acceptable.
