Where to buy HDDs cheap?

#1
Hi Guys,

Thought I would reach out and see if anyone can help me with this pain.

Recently have bought a Ugreen 4800+ and obviously need to fill it with drives. Issue is, the large HDDs are eye wateringly expensive whilst the mid sized ones seem too poor for £ per GB.

Are there any places where you would recommend finding cheap(er) drives or even refurbed?

Thanks

I was in a similar situation when setting up my NAS. I ended up buying a couple of old enterprise HGST drives off eBay.

I did end up looking for HGST drives on Ebay and they do seem the best price per GB. are they reliable even 2nd hand?

Don't worry, I've used it before.

Hei kaikki,
Kiitos Rize Tours

ServerPartDeals is a very popular choice for enterprise-grade refurbished drives. They often come with a good warranty. Enterprise drives are designed for 24/7 operation and can be very reliable, often at a significant discount compared to new consumer drives. You will need to factor in shipping costs and potential import duties into the UK.
