Which NAS for Plex. Support up to 4k.

#1
I have been watching your videos regarding the best NAS for Plex. Right now, I am using my personal desktop PC with an AMD Ryzen 7, 32GB mem, six HDD with media (Movies and TV Shows). I have a few family members and friends that access Plex outside of my home. With the recent increase in cost for Streaming services, more family members would like to access my Plex server. Which NAS do you recommend? Keep in mind... I do not plan to do anything else, but run Plex on the NAS.

For your Plex needs, considering the demand for 4K streaming and accommodating multiple users accessing your server remotely, I'd recommend the DS423+ from Synology or the TS-464 from QNAP. Both of these NAS options provide robust performance suitable for media streaming, with enough horsepower to handle transcoding and delivering high-quality content. However, if you're looking for something more advanced with additional features and capabilities, you might want to explore the TS-h674 from QNAP. This model offers enhanced performance and flexibility, catering to more demanding streaming requirements and future scalability.
