hallo,

ik heb een Qnap 2 bay NAS aangeschaft. Ik wil daar twee hdd in plaatsen om alle foto en muziek bestanden op te slaan en iedereen die toegang heeft tot mijn thuisnetwerk de mogelijkheid bieden daarvan gebruik te maken. Daarnaast wil ik de NAS ook via een externe toegang bereikbaar maken, dus op een ander fysiek adres toch data kunnen bekijken. Ik wil de disks in RAID 1 plaatsen zodat disk 2 een kopie is van disk 1 en dus een backup is. Of kan ik beter een externe disk koppelen aan de NAS en daar de kopie van disk 1 op zetten. Moeten beide HDD in NAS gelijk zijn ( dus bijv. WD/WD en 4Tb/4Tb) of mag bay 1 een WD zijn en Bay 2 een Seagate Ironwolf.. Als WD red, is dan CMR beter dan SMR?
