DS212J to 223

I'm currently using a DS212j for home use.
Largely storage of video, audio & photos. Download station enabled with VPN.
The CPU of the NAS is regularly at 100% resulting in a slow GUI (I don't recall this being an issue initially)
Would I likely see snappier performance in the GUI with a 223 model ?

Video streamed to a Nvidia Shield with Kodi so no transcoding required

Yes, DS223 has more RAM and a better CPU. This would be a faster option. It also supports transcoding even though it is a budget model.
