For a storage system that can handle 5 concurrent video editors working with large video files (up to 600GB each) with previewing, browsing, and interacting with files from the cloud and local storage, you may want to consider a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device with a powerful processor, plenty of memory, and fast networking capabilities.

One option you might consider is the QNAP TVS-x72XT series. These NAS devices have a 10GbE SFP+ port and support 10GbE networking, which should provide fast and reliable performance for your video editing workflow. They also have a powerful processor and plenty of memory, and they support multiple hard drives for high capacity storage.

Another option you could consider is the Synology DS3617xs. This NAS device also has a 10GbE SFP+ port and supports 10GbE networking, and it has a powerful processor and plenty of memory. It can support up to 36 drives for high capacity storage, and it has a built-in hardware transcoding engine for video previewing and playback.

In terms of connectivity, you'll want to make sure your NAS device is connected to your 10GbE switch (Netgear Prosafe XS716T) to take advantage of the fast networking speeds. You should also ensure that your Mac mini and desktop PC have 10GbE network cards installed to support the fast networking speeds.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
