Hi! We are just in the process of finishing a bigger piece on this subject that should be going live V soon, with some recommendations for VPNs. Currently I would say Nord or Vyper (I use both personally) and the setup process through either the QNAP or even most domestic ISP routers is quite straightforward (log into the latter via 192.168.0.1 normally) and there should be a VPN tab and means to enter your credentials.
