Yes, ds3617xs comes with lots of power. Even though there is no graphics chip featured on this model, it can easily convert videos on the fly using software transcoding. But I would recommend using an offline transcoding option to create a copy of smaller video versions for online streaming.Qnap TVS-872XT / 782N has fewer HDD bays, but do feature SSD M.2 cache and transcoding chip which will keep NAS performance stable even during the transcoding process.
