I have 1515+ for home use I like it very much and I want to upgrade because I'm using ds video for my movie and tv show , i have family members connecting on my server to watch some movie and tv shows i can see the CPU goes up from transcoding so its time for upgrade and 5 bay is small now i need 6+ and 2 SSD for cash so that's why I'm thinking of ds3617xs like you said it rooooow power 
I'm trying to reach 50+ online user for videos 1080p and 720p with no problems
