Having 10GbE ports is a necessity for local 4k editing.
If you want to use Davinci shared timelines, they allow any storage device to do that. Normally Dropbox is recommended. But you can also use Synology Drive app which is very similar to Drobox. Qnap have their own QSYNC app which is also similar to Drobox. If you do need local 4K editing, ds1621+ supports 10GbE upgrade. Otherwise, yu can use it over 1GbE by default.
