I would normally not recommend cheap drives like this. WD Red plus, Ironwolf or Exos drives are a better choice.
But since you run them in a RAID, Qnap system will run regular checks on these drives. If one drive fails, the others will protect the data.
So technically even if these drives are not good, you have this redundancy protection.
TS-664 is a Multimedia friendly choice. It also can be upgraded to 10GbE speeds. You would not make a mistake choosing this model.
